October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, a time to celebrate strength and resilience in the face of breast cancer. We’re deeply inspired by Bridget, a remarkable 49-year-old breast cancer survivor and a valued member of our MyWhoosh community. Bridget’s journey through breast cancer and her remarkable recovery through indoor cycling serve as an inspiration to us all.
Bridget’s Story
Bridget’s battle with breast cancer included two surgeries and six months of challenging chemotherapy, with more radiation therapy to come. Throughout her ordeal, Bridget turned to MyWhoosh, a free-to-use virtual cycling app, initially to address her concerns about the lack of regulation in virtual cycling. What she discovered was more than just a platform; it was a supportive community and a lifeline during her recovery.
